Mitiku Ayele specializes on organizing and managing promotion and development of Micro, small & Medium enterprises .He mainly focused on project planning, evaluation, conducting and organizing training's workshops, trade fair, exhibitions for business organizations, strengthening chamber of commerce's etc.

Mitiku has got Degree of master in economics from Aligarh Muslim University, India, after he did his first degree in the same field of specialization from Addis Ababa University. He also attended different short-term training and workshops    these can be mentioned as follows:

F     Two weeks training on Design for Development strategies which was given by School of oriental and African Studies/ London University /,

F     New paradigm of Business Development Services by GFA Management Consultants in collaboration with Ethio-German SME"S-programs,

F     Training workshops on Food Security World Vision Ethiopia and Development Consultant,

F     Three weeks training on business consultancy By Ed Canela /International consultant /in Collaboration with UNIDO.

F     Ten days training on income accounting  for Reg-GDP estimation

He had been working as an expert and senior expert in Bureau of planning and economic Development, conducting studies on the sectoral issue and problems, appraisal of planned activities, monitoring and evaluation of Water, Health, Labor and social Affaires of the region. He formulated different tools to undergo zonal planning and economic developmental activities. Assisting different consultants in food and targeting studies, impact assessment of saving and conducting different terminal evaluations of NGO.  He also served coordinator as Southern Cooperative Development programme, which was funded by IFAD in one of the Zones in the Region.

Mitiku is now working as a deputy head of trade and industry bureau of the region. He is working on activities like enterprise development, facilitating suitable condition for business men to get training, consultancy and organize and strengthen chamber of commerce arranging credit facility and working premises for micro enterprises through close collabration with United Nations Industrial Development Organization and German Development Services. He speaks different languages such as English, Amharic Wolaytato, and Gofatho.
