Ahmed
Abdurahman (in short Ami)
specializes in promoting Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Re engineering,
Business counseling, Opportunity seeking, assessment, Business linkages,
occupational health and safety and quality system management for small and
medium enterprises.
He
has got Diploma in Management, B Sc. in Chemistry and postgraduate Diploma
in Human Resource Management. He has attended various training courses,
workshops and conferences on economics and management, project planning
and development as well as Entrepreneurship development
He has served for over 15 years in the area of small
scale industries development specially in designing and implementing
extension services for small scale industries in Ethiopia and produced
technical papers related with the promotion and capacity building of small
scale industries. He
has written several papers on different topics.
Today he manages his own companies Africa
Host Professionals(AHP), which deals with the capacity building of
private enterprises, Golden
Gate Institute, a training institute, and share holder in Cross
Bridge Ethiopia Consultancy PLC. He has actively participated in
different forum and served in different positions. Currently he is the
Vice President of EMPRETEC Ethiopia Business Society and Member of Board
of Directors for the Organization for the Preservation of Ethiopian
Environmental Cultural and Historical Heritages and others. He has been
awarded Outstanding Personal Achievement Award and Competency Award from
EMPRETEC Ghana Foundation.
He is happily married and the support of his
professional and dedicated wife is an additional input to his success.
With age 40
he has fathered three sons, being his first son grade 7th
student is a testimony for his being focused person. His amicable
personality, agility and commitment to the work contract make him
trustworthy.
